Advanced Rooftop Control (ARC) Pilot

APS Solutions for Business makes saving energy and money easier. The Advanced Rooftop Control pilot provides eligible K-12 schools and select nonprofits a rebate for installing eligible HVAC equipment.

How it works

Better manage utility costs and improve indoor air quality when you operate your HVAC equipment using advanced rooftop controls. It’s easy to lower operating costs and reduce energy use with the following APS Solutions for Business offers.

Advanced rooftop controls with VSDs

Retrofit your rooftop units with variable speed drives (VSD) to improve the efficiency of your HVAC system. The VSD allows for variable operation depending on the need for the HVAC system to provide cool air, which reduces load and energy costs.

Outdoor air economizers

Reduce energy use and improve indoor air quality when you retrofit constant air dampers with modulating dampers using a CO₂ sensor. The upgraded system determines whether to use recycled indoor air or fresh outdoor air throughout the cooling cycle. When combined with your ARC equipment, eligible APS customers can receive a rebate for adding an outside air economizer.

Energy management systems (EMS)

Control various HVAC system components in a central hub for greater equipment oversight and better energy management. When combined with your ARC equipment, eligible APS customers can receive a rebate for adding an EMS.

2. Purchase eligible HVAC equipment, submit a pre-application and have the equipment installed.
3. Submit the final application and receive your rebate.
